in Dufferin County, Ontario

Medical students and residents, in all years of training, from all of the Ontario university medical schools (as well as some from international medical schools), incorporate training at the Headwaters Health Care Centre and within local physicians’ offices as part of their education.

In 2012, 31 medical students and 16 family practice residents trained with family physicians, internists, general surgeons, ob/gynecologists, radiologists, and a paediatrician. There are specialists in a number of other fields prepared to accept medical students and residents for training experiences.
