Orangeville is the site of the Headwaters Health Care Centre, an 87 bed, level C, technologically advanced facility opened in 1997. The hospital is currently seeking a paediatrician.

A wide range of specialists serve the community, providing 24 hour coverage of medicine, general surgery, anaesthesia, gynaecology/obstetrics and radiology. In addition, a paediatrician, an ophthalmologist and an otolaryngologist provide part time coverage. There is 24 hour RT support.

Orthopaedic, plastic and thoracic surgeons, as well as a urologist and a geriatric psychiatrist provide coverage through visiting specialist clinics at the hospital.

The hospital has a hemodialysis clinic staffed by a visiting nephrologist, and the local internists provide a satellite oncology service.
